C.7 Calculation Preferences

You can use the Calculation Preferences for PIR and Health Requirements section of the Health module to specify how you want participants counted for questions on the PIR.

The only time you should have to use this section to is when you want to override the way ChildPlus automatically calculates the C.7 questions on the PIR. By default, the answer for each question will always be Let ChildPlus calculate answer using Health EventsExamples of items you can track as health include: Physical Exams, Dental Exams, Eye Exams, TB Screenings, and Well Baby Checks.. If you want ChildPlus to automatically count the participant towards C.7, C.7.a or C.7.a.1 then choose the Count option. If you do not want ChildPlus to count the participant towards C.7, C.7.a or C.7.a.1, then choose the Do not count option.

Report 9711 allows you to view which participants are NOT being counted for question C.7.

You can also specify how to you want participants to be counted for C.18, C.26 and C.27 on this screen.

Specifying how you want participants counted for questions C.7

 

1. Open the Health module for the participant. How do I do this? Click Services > select the participant's name in the Participants List > click Health.

2. Click on Health Information.
3. Go to the Calculation Preferences for PIR and Health Requirements section of the screen.
4. Specify whether you want the participant to be counted for C.7, C.7.a or C.7.b by choosing from the following options for each:
   
   

Chose...	If you want ChildPlus to...
Let ChildPlus calculate answer using Health Events	Decide whether or not this participant should count for the question based on the participant's health events.   Click here to learn more about how ChildPlus calculates question C.7.
Count	Automatically count this participant towards the question.
Do Not Count	Never count this participant towards the question.

 

5. Click Save.
