What's New in ChildPlus 5.3

Online Application Attachments
In response to the Coronavirus pandemic, ChildPlus has added a great enhancement to our convenient and contact-free Online Application feature. Now parents and guardians can eliminate in-person visits by uploading important documents such as address and employment verifications, birth certificates, immunization records, insurance cards and anything else you need. And the documents they upload are automatically saved in ChildPlus as Attachments to the family's application.

Request Documents
Similar to our new Online Application Attachments feature, our new Request Documents feature gives you the ability to send a link via email or text that will take parents and guardians to a web page where they can upload documents required for applications. Online Application Attachments

The ChildPlus Online Application is a convenient and contact-free way for parents and guardians to submit an application from home. In response to the Coronavirus pandemic, we've made the ChildPlus Online Application even better by allowing parents and guardians to upload important documents such as address and employment verifications, birth certificates, immunization records and insurance cards as Attachments.

You can customize Online Application Attachments to meet the specific documentation requirement needs of your agency. Instructions for uploading documents can be provided to parents and guardians in either English or Spanish. You can also control the types of documents that parents and guardians are permitted to upload.

Run Report 2132 - Participant Attachment Listing and select Only show attachments added using the Online Application document upload feature to check for or view uploaded Attachments.

ChildPlus administrators can activate and configure Attachments for Online Applications in ChildPlus Desktop >> Setup >> Module Setup >> Online Application >> Attachments.

Request Documents

Our new Request Documents feature gives you the ability to send a link that will take parents and guardians to a web page where they can upload documents such as address and employment verifications, birth certificates, immunization records, insurance cards and more. Request Documents, which is available next to the parent or guardian's Email address in the Application module, can be used to remind parents and guardians to submit any documents that were not submitted with their initial Online Application. If your agency is not using the Online Application feature, you can still use Request Documents to send a link that parents and guardians can use to upload documents required for an application. All documents they upload will automatically be saved as Family Attachments in ChildPlus.

Run Report 2132 - Participant Attachment Listing and select Only show attachments added using the Online Application document upload feature to check for or view uploaded Attachments.

ChildPlus administrators can activate and configure the Allow parents/guardians to upload attachments feature in ChildPlus Desktop >> Setup >> Module Setup >> Online Application >> Attachments. If you do not want users to be able to access Request Documents, ChildPlus administrators can set User Security privileges for this field in ChildPlus Desktop >> Setup >> User Security Groups.

To use this new feature, open ChildPlus Mobile on an iOS or Android mobile device and click or tap Attendance.

New Module Gallery Modules

We added two new premade daily health check modules (one for participants and one for staff members) to the Module Gallery. You agency can use these premade modules to collect temperatures, document possible exposure and other important health information. You can start with a copy of one of these premade modules to create your own daily health check module.

To install these new premade modules, go to ChildPlus Desktop >> Setup >> Module Setup >> Module Designer >> Install premade modules from the gallery. Once installed, you can begin using the module and any associated reports right away or you can customize it to suit your agency's specific needs. Each premade module also includes a report that can be used for monitoring and serves as a quick entry form in ChildPlus Desktop.
