Data History Log

We resolved an issue where certain changes made in ChildPlus Mobile were not displayed in the Data History Log.

Entry Express - Enrollment

We fixed an issue with the Eligibility column that prevented you from sorting records in ascending or descending order.

Management >> PIR

We resolved an issue that prevented you from exporting your PIR data if you clicked Add New PIR and attempted to export data without re-calculating first.

We resolved an issue where PIR questions B.16.1 and B.16.2 were not formatted correctly in the PIR export file.

Report 4220 - Family Outcomes - Assessment Completion Status

We resolved an issue where, in certain situations, this report omitted information for families who were not assessed.

Report 9701 - Enrollment, Turnover, Attendance (A.16, A.18, A.21, A.22) (Grid)

We improved the performance of this report so that it now takes less time to run.

Report 9900 - PIR Report (Current Values)

We resolved an issue where the value displayed for PIR question C.23 was different from the value displayed on Report 9710 - Disability Services (C.23, C.24, C.25).

ChildPlus Mobile

Area Description

Add Family

We made some enhancements to streamline the process of adding Adults and Other Family Members in ChildPlus Mobile. As part of these enhancements, you now have the flexibility to set any Adult added as an Other Family Member to Primary Adult, Secondary Adult or Other Adult.

Attendance

We resolved an issue that prevented Attendance Scanning from working in ChildPlus 5.5.31.0.

DRDP Assessment

We resolved the following issues in the DRDP Assessment module:

  • An issue that prevented some users from assigning participants when adding a DRDP Observation.

  • An issue where ChildPlus displayed DRDP Measures in Spanish the first time an Observation was added.

Participants List

We resolved an issue where users received an error message after clicking Change List.

Report 2130 - Participant Notes

We resolved an issue that prevented hyperlinks from working correctly on this report.

Report 5043 - DRDP Child Development Summary

We resolved an issue where ChildPlus was not displaying text for sub-groups on this report.

We resolved an issue where ChildPlus counted participants whose Primary Language at Home was not set to English for PIR question A.26.a.1.

Management >> PIR >> Section C

We resolved an issue where ChildPlus was counting participants with Referral or Evaluation activities that occurred after their Drop Date for PIR questions C.21 and C.21.a.

Report 3530 - Disability History

We resolved an issue where this report displayed duplicate information for participants associated with multiple Program Terms.

Report 5003 - DRDP Observation Counts

 

We updated the wording associated with the Time Frame filter on the Report Setup screen. This filter option now includes additional information to make it clear exactly which observations will be included for the Assessment Period or Date Range.

We resolved an issue that preventing you from adding an Attachment to an Infant or Toddler CLASS® record.

Community Menu

We removed the link to the Head Start Community Forum and replaced it with a link to the My Peers Community. My Peers was created by the Office of Head Start (OHS) to help you connect and learn with people who share your interests and program responsibilities.

Dashboard

We resolved an issue where the Receiving Services indicator for Family Services was not including the Services Received questions added to Family Services >> Family Services Information >> PIR for the 2020-2021 PIR.

Disability >> Concerns

We resolved an issue where, if you added an Activity to a Concern that was previously Closed, ChildPlus deleted the Closed Reason for the Concern.

Education >> Education Requirements

We resolved an issue where, in certain situations, ChildPlus was displaying some Education Events as Education Requirements when they were actually sub-events of a required Health Event.

Enrollment >> Enrollment History

To prevent accidental deletion of Attendance data, ChildPlus now displays a warning message whenever you make an Enrollment History change that will impact Attendance data.

Enrollment >> Location Preferences

We resolved an issue where, in certain situations, a Participation Record could be hidden when multiple Location Preferences were assigned to it.

Entry Express - Attendance

We resolved an issue where, in certain situations, it was possible to add Attendance after a classroom's Classroom End Date.

Family Services >> Family Outcomes

We updated the Dropped date that ChildPlus displays for participants with an Enrollment Status of Dropped. ChildPlus now displays the date that the participant's Dropped status began.

Health >> Health Information >> Medicaid Eligibility

We resolved an issue where, when Medicaid Eligibility information was added through an Online Application, ChildPlus was not displaying it in the Medicaid Eligibility field on the Health Information tab.

Management >> PIR >> Section C >> C.7.a

We updated the wording associated with the Override label for this question to reflect the language of the 2020-2021 PIR.

Management >> PIR >> Section B >>PIR Question B.5.a

We resolved an issue where ChildPlus was including participants who did not count for B.3.e(2) in the calculation for question B.5.a.

We updated the way ChildPlus counts participants as Dual Language Learners for PIR question A.27. ChildPlus now counts a participant as a Dual Language Learner if one of the following is true for the family:

  • the family's Acquiring/learning another language in addition to English field is set to Yes

  • The family's Primary Language at Home field is not set to English

Participant Details

We resolved an issue where, in certain situations, it was possible for details about participants to display conflicting Program Term information in ChildPlus Desktop and ChildPlus Mobile. Moving forward, each participant's details will always display the same Program Term information in ChildPlus Desktop and ChildPlus Mobile.

Report 7940 - California CD-9400 Enrollment and Attendance Register

We resolved an issue where ChildPlus included the blank attendance status in the Days of Attendance field on this report.

9700 - PIR Report (precalculated values and overrides)

The wording for question C.1.b on this report now matches the 2020-2021 PIR.

Report 9900 - PIR Report (current values)

We resolved an issue where ChildPlus was not displaying a total for question C.21.a.1 on this report.

The wording for question C.1.b on this report now matches the 2020-2021 PIR.

We updated this report so that the totals displayed for questions A.22 and A.22.a match the totals for these questions on Report 9701 - Enrollment, Turnover, Attendance (A.16, A.18, A.21, A.22) (Grid)

We resolved an issue where Attendance records for participants who had transferred to another location were not displayed in the correct order.

We resolved an issue that prevented you from printing from the Services >> PIR window.

We resolved an issue where, in certain situations, ChildPlus displayed an inaccurate message about reduced characters when you edited information in the Notes field.

We resolved an issue that prevented users from connecting to Archives created before the user was added to ChildPlus.

We resolved an issue where, in certain situations, ChildPlus displayed an error message related to Attendance when data was purged.

Setup >> Module Setup >> Internal Monitoring Checklists >> Checklist Setup

We resolved an issue that prevented ChildPlus from sorting new Monitoring Checklists correctly if they were set to List with sections and sub-sections. To help you manually fix the order of existing Checklists, we added a Sort column where the correct numerical sort order for sub-categories can be set.

General tab
To alleviate confusion about designing Module Designer modules based on Event Types, we added the following message to the screen:

Event Types can only be attached to one Module Designer module. Event Types not appearing in this list have already be attached to a module.

Reports tab
To help alleviate confusion about creating Advanced Reports for Module Designer modules, we added a new pop up message with a link directly to information about creating Advanced Reports in ChildPlus Desktop Help.

We resolved an issue that prevented instructions added to the General Instructions - Spanish field in HTML from displaying in the Document Upload window.

We resolved an issue where, in certain situations, section labels for Family and Family Members displayed on the Document Upload window when there were no applicable documents.

We resolved an issue that, in certain situations, resulted in an error message displaying for parents when they attempted to upload an Attachment to an Online Application. This error occurred if text added to the Label - English or Label - Spanish fields exceeded 40 characters. To fix this issue, ChildPlus now limits these fields to 40 characters. If your agency uses these fields for your Online Application, we advise you to check the Module Setup to verify that the 40 character limit did not cut off any of your instructions.

We added restrictions that prevent parents from uploading files with the following extensions as Attachments: .exe, .bat, .dll, .vbs and .com.

We resolved an issue where users with Append Access were not apple to add notes to the Health/Dental Coverage Notes field (available through ChildPlus Desktop >> Services >> Health >> Health Info >> PIR).

 

ChildPlus Mobile

Area Description

Module Designer

We resolved an issue where, after adding a record to a custom module created with Module Designer, ChildPlus displayed an error message when you signed out of ChildPlus Mobile.

Participant Details

We resolved an issue where, in certain situations, participant details displayed different Program Term information in ChildPlus Desktop than in ChildPlus Mobile. Moving forward, both ChildPlus Mobile and ChildPlus Desktop will always display the same Program Term information for participants.

Report 1350 - Video Watch History

We added the following description for this report: 

This report displays a list of complete or incomplete Learning Library videos watched by staff.

Report 3390 - California Immunization Record

We resolved an issue where, in certain situations, ChildPlus displayed an inaccurate Date for the Fourth HiB shot.

Report 5003 - DRDP Observation Counts

We updated the way ChildPlus calculates the Recommended Number of Observations displayed for participants on this report.

We added a new option to Group this report by None.

Report 5020 - DRDP Child Rating Record

We resolved an issue where ChildPlus was displaying the first child's Finalized Date for all children on this report.

Report 5021 - DRDP Child Domain Report

We removed the indention before subdomains on this report.

Report 5023 - DRDP Portfolios

We resolved an issue where the Type filters for No Attachments and Notes were not working correctly. When No Attachments is selected, ChildPlus will display all observations without attachments. When Notes is selected, ChildPlus displays all observations that have text in the Notes field, including observations with attachments.

Report 5024 - DRDP Parent Report

In response to reports of parent confusion and concern, we removed the words Early Infancy and Kindergarten Entry and the arrow directly beneath them from this report.

Report 5041 - DRDP Group Domain Report

We resolved an issue where, in certain situations, ChildPlus was cutting off the Integrating English marker on this report.
