Families new to Lee County Head Start can apply to enroll their children for the 2025-2026 school year by completing this application. If you a returning family or previously had a child in Lee County Head Start, please call 276-346-3150 to complete an application. Upon completing this application, a Family Service Provider will contact you through the phone number and/or email address provided on the application. Before a child's application can be screened for enrollment, the Family Service Provider MUST receive a complete immunization record and proof of income. Specific situations that are covered include children in emergency/transitional shelters: children/families sharing housing of others due to loss of housing economic hardships, or similar reasons, and children and families living in hotels due to lack of adequate housing.
