Head Start is a federal program for low income families. Our program selects applicants based on a selection criteria and not on a first come first served basis. Upon receipt of the required information, your child will be put on a waiting list. This could take up to 30 days. You will be notified as soon as possible if your child has been selected. If you are applying for prenatal please select Early Head Start from the drop-down in the section Location Preferences. After your child is born please submit a paper application to the site. If your family is receiving SNAP benefits please make appropriate selection from the drop down under Family information section
Are you living at a temporary address? Are you in a home with a friend/relative due to loss of housing (for example: eviction, unemployment, fire, domestic violence, utilities disconnected, etc). Are you in a shelter, transitional housing, motel, car, campsite, moving place to place, child protective services safety plan?
