Openings are now available for families at all the RPC Early Childhood Education Program (a Head Start program) locations. We also have several openings for prospective employees. Join our team today!

RPC Early Childhood Education Program has a limited number of available slots and applying does not guarantee that your child will be enrolled. Enrollment is based on eligibility and child/family need. To be eligible for Head Start or Early Head Start, your child must be age zero to five, and your family must meet at least one of the income requirements.

Income Requirements

You must have a family gross income equal to or less than those stated by the Federal Poverty Guidelines based on family size;
Have someone in the immediate family receiving certain forms of public assistance (TANF/FEP, SNAP, or SSI);
Be a foster child with documentation from DCFS;
Be currently homeless;
Be a child with an IEP (Individual Education Plan) or IFSP (Individual Family Service Plan) to help with his/her speech or developmental delay.

If your family does not meet the income guidelines and you would still like to apply, we have limited spots available for children in other circumstances. You are welcome to apply and your child will be considered if opportunities are available.
