This is an online inquiry. Families experiencing housing issues or living in one of the following towns may apply: Johnston, North Providence, Burrillville, Glocester, Smithfield, North Smithfield, Scituate, Greene, Foster, Harmony, North Kingstown, Charlestown, Westerly, Ashaway, Exeter, Hopkinton, Narragansett, Richmond, South Kingstown. Please complete all information thoroughly. We will be contacting you to screen for program eligibility and to finish the recruitment process if your family appears eligible at the time of screening. Once application is completed, and all required documentation is signed the participant will be placed on the waiting list. Once eligibility is verified participant will be eligible for enrollment. Please Note: Head Start is a Federal Public Benefit Fraud warning: employees, families and participants who intentionally commit fraud on income information may suffer legal consequences of arrest, fines, terminations, expulsions, incarceration, etc. These charges might be federal, local, state and civil suits. Please complete all demographic information. We are a federally funded program so families do need to be determined eligible under federal guidelines to apply. If your family is currently receiving SNAP benefits, this may be the only documentation you need to provide besides your child's proof of birth. Once we have your application, we will call or email you to check your gross annual income (what you earn-not what you take home). If you are experiencing issues around housing stability, are homeless or are applying for a foster child, or have no income, please let the recruiter know when they call you.
