Head Start is a Federal program and is operated by local non-profit organizations in almost every county in the country. Children who attend Head Start participate in a variety of educational activities. They receive health screenings, have healthy meals and snacks and enjoy playing indoors and outdoors in a safe setting. Services are offered to meet the individual needs of every child in our program. Head Start provides children with activities to help them grow mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally. The Head Start staff recognizes that, as parents, you are first and most important teachers of your children. We welcome your involvement in the Head Start classroom activities and will work as partners with you to help your child succeed.
