Welcome to the Miami-Dade Head Start/Early Head Start online pre-application.

Children served by the Early Head Start program must be at least 2 months old and under 3 years old.

Children served by the Head Start Program must be at least 3 years old and no older than 5 years of age. If a child does not turn 3 years old by Sept 1st an application can be submitted on the child’s third birthday or beyond.

Both Head Start and Early Head Start program services are subject to eligibility and slot availability.

If you have previously submitted an application online; or, if you are a returning parent, do not submit another application using this online process. Please go directly to the center of your choice with the required documents to apply and submit an application; or, download a Head Start/Early Head Start application from the Miami-Dade County website and bring the completed application with the required documents directly to the center you have selected for your child. Call the center in advance to make an appointment.
