Riverside Early Head Start offers a free, comprehensive home visiting program for Cambridge, Medford, and Somerville residents who meet federal low-income guidelines. Riverside Early Head Start does not offer childcare. The program supports families with infants or toddlers, as well as expectant parents, by providing in-home visits that focus on child development, wellness, and parenting skills. Services include weekly home visits, parent-child playgroups, health and nutrition education, prenatal support, and workshops. Riverside Early Head Start is inclusive of all cultural backgrounds and individuals with special needs.
