PCPS offers Early Childhood Education for children ages three to five in Polk County. Below, you will have the choice to select either the 2024-25 (start now to May) or 2025-26 (August) school year Pre-K application. This choice is under location preferences. Once you select the application year, you can choose up to 3 school locations. We will check your school zone based on the address you enter. This is the first step in the application process. All fields must be completed and documents uploaded to expedite your application. Any missing information or documents may delay your application.

Click save and continue to finalize your pre-application. What's next? An enrollment specialist will look at the documents that you have uploaded. If all documents are there, your application will move forward and someone will contact you regarding an interview to complete all the information that is needed. After that, we will review your application and you will receive an email that your application is completed and waitlisted. The email will come from "School Message". Due to the volume of applications received, please give us 4 weeks before emailing prek@polk-fl.net to check on your application. School selections are tentatively scheduled by May 30th.
